• Fall Senior Meeting – October 11, 2024  2nd period. Seniors will go to the Little Theatre during WIN time immediately following the SEL Screener. Plan to be there for lots of important information, timeline of events to Graduation!

• The Senior Panoramic photo is scheduled for October 21 at 8:00 am.

We at Victor O’Neill Studios, your school’s official school photographer, are excited to see you on the following date(s) for your senior portraits at the school, in the Library:

There is no charge to have the photos taken for the yearbook.

The attire for the school’s yearbook pose will be in the traditional Tuxedos and Drapes,  or you can provide your own formal attire in dark solid colors. We will provide the Tuxedo and Drapes. In addition to the yearbook session we also offer sessions that include casual/personality portraits and cap and gown portraits.  Please follow the link below to choose your session type and appointment time.

SENIOR AD INFO.

The yearbook is a memory book for students,
and you can make your seniorʼs yearbook a
treasure by including a personalized ad.
Through www.yearbookordercenter.com, you will
upload high-resolution images, place the images
in an ad template, and write your own message to
your senior(s)

Your images cannot include nudes. If the content of the photos is
inappropriate for a school setting, you will be asked to change your ad.
Original artwork and poetry may be submitted. Lyrics, poems, quotes
and Biblical references are limited to four lines and must include
attribution. We cannot violate copyright law.
The Yearbook Order Center accepts credit cards, echecks and PayPal
payments.

EagleBank Arena at GMU, 4500 Patriot Circle, Fairfax VA.  Graduation is a school-sponsored event and will follow all FCPS rules, policies, and regulations.

Ceremony

• The graduation ceremony will start at TBH and will last no more than 2 hours.
• Professional dress is required for students, as this is a celebration of their accomplishments.
• Graduation decorum includes exemplary senior behavior throughout the graduation ceremony. Graduation is intended to be a dignified event, not a pep rally.
• Please … no air horns, beach balls, or other distracting items or behaviors. Our seniors have worked extremely hard and deserve to hear his/her name read aloud.
• Guests and family members are asked to remain s:eated during the ceremony. 
• Please wait for your student outside of the North entrance following the ceremony. 
• Victor O’Neill Studios will provide commencement portraits and will send an email with the link to the albums following graduation. Purchase is optional.
• Memories, a professional production company, will videotape the ceremony. Purchase is optional. A mail-in order form will be available at graduation with the program.

Bridging Bruins is a high quality work based learning internship program that seniors have the
opportunity to participant in at the end of the year.
This program provides students with the opportunity to end their school year early and begin
working as an intern to explore future career paths and gain valuable experience in a work
environment of their choice.
Bridging Bruins Interns will be excused from their final exams and school work (except AP exams,
Dual Enrollment finals and a couple other specific cases).
Interns must successfully complete 45 internship hours during the window, complete check-ins, write
a reflection paper, and create a presentation of learning.

Civics Seal on Diploma:
1) Earn “B” or higher in US/VA History & Government
2) Have good attendance and no disciplinary infractions
3) Complete 50 hours of voluntary participation in community service
or extracurricular activities
