High School and Middle School Art Staff Description of the Lake Braddock Middle School FINE ARTS program:

The Fine Arts program at Lake Braddock Middle School has four course offerings: Art Foundations a seventh grade introductory art semester elective, Art Extensions an eighth grade intermediate art semester elective, 3D Art Exploration for seventh and eighth graders and Computers in Art for seventh and eighth graders. The program provides students with opportunities to express themselves in a variety of art media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and digital art. Lessons promote artistic skill development and an understanding of the language of art, while encouraging creative problem-solving, and multicultural awareness. Students maintain a sketchbook, compile a portfolio of their artwork and exhibit their work in both school displays and our Lake Braddock Pyramid Art Show.
