Students in Ms. Ragland's 5th period Fitness and Foods class recently engaged in a month long authentic learning experience which culminated in a presentation in front of a panel of "investors" that judged the final products and presentations. 

Using the show Shark Tank as a model, the young entrepreneurs were tasked with creating a business model for a new food truck. They had to create a signature dish to serve to the panel, as well as a visual to persuade the group of investors to take on their project. 

It was clear that the students put a lot of work into this authentic learning experience and were able to demonstrate many attributes in FCPS' Portrait of a Graduate throughout the process.
