When are activities offered?
Clubs and activities are offered 5 days a week from 2:45 – 5:00PM. Late buses are available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 4:50PM. Parent pick-up is required on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as after 4:50PM on late bus days.
How do I sign-up for clubs?
Many clubs do not require student sign-up (just attend on scheduled dates!). However, clubs that require sign-up or commitment will distribute a sign-up form at their first meeting. These forms should be completed by parents and students and submitted to the club sponsor on or before the following meeting.
Can I start an After-School Club?
Students can work with Ms. Bryan, the After-School Program Specialist, to begin a club!
How much does it cost to participate in After-School Activities?
After-School activities are funded through a grant from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The program is free although there may be nominal fees (<$20) associated with certain clubs that compete or have material costs. These fees are associated with less than 10% of the activities we offer.
Do I have to pre-register?
Students must be registered in the After-School Program to participate. It is a required form for the 2017-2018 school year. They can obtain a registration form below, from the main office, or in MS guidance.
