Mr. Wickham took his history students to the WWII Memorial to meet up with Honor Flight with veterans from WWII, Korean and Vietnam War. They wrote letters, made posters, and surprised the 48 veterans from Kansas and 76 veterans from Ohio. 

The mission of Honor Flight is "to celebrate America's veterans by inviting them to share in a day of honor at our nation's memorials."  For more information on Honor Flight, check out their Honor Flight website.
