Teachers for Tomorrow Program Presentation Held at LBSS

Dr. Brabrand was honored to be a guest speaker Friday afternoon at the Teachers for Tomorrow recognition program held at Lake Braddock SS! Teachers for Tomorrow provides FCPS' juniors and seniors with real life teaching experience by working with teachers as mentors. Students are even asked to prepare and teach their own lesson. There were 168 students enrolled in the program at six different schools. There are plans to expand to five more schools next year. At the event, students were offered employment contracts to come back and work for FCPS once they complete a teacher licensure program in Virginia.
