Five Other Bruin Staff Members Recognized for Exemplary Contributions
Congratulations to family and consumer sciences teacher Toshieba Ragland who was recognized as the FCPS 2020 Region 4 Outstanding Secondary Teacher and one of five finalists for the 2020 Outstanding Secondary Teacher Award!
Toshieba vastly impacts students, staff, and parents with her charismatic attitude. As a passionate educator who always thinks of students first, she devotes countless hours beyond the classroom to support her students. A parent expressed “Our whole family has been impressed with Ms. Ragland. She captivated us with her energy, enthusiasm, passion for teaching, and her notable influence on my kids.” Her colleague said, “Toshieba is the first to arrive and last to exit the building.” As Toshieba carries many leadership roles, she identifies with and values every student as her own which makes her an indispensable FCPS educator.
