LBSS Welcomes Japanese High School Students
On Friday, March 23rd, 2018, a group of Japanese high school students visited LBSS as a part of the Kakehashi Project. (Fully funded, large-scale youth exchange program between Japan and USA promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.)
18 students and 2 teachers from Nippon Bunri University High School in Oita, Japan visited LBSS. They spent a part of school day shadowing LBSS students and then gave LBSS students a presentation introducing their school life and many aspects of Japanese culture. The cultural experience and friendships extended beyond the classroom when LBSS students and Nippon Bunri University students attended a field trip on Saturday, March 24th.
