Graduation Ceremony at Eagle Bank Arena

  • Arrival for Seniors
    • Seniors arrive at 12:30 pm via the loading dock
    • Professional dress is expected
    • Doors will open for families at approximately 1:00 pm.
    • We encourage carpooling or dropping students off
  • Seating for Spectators
    • EagleBank Arena provides ample accessible seating for patrons in wheelchairs as well as those who may have difficulty with steps. All entrances to the arena are at street/concourse level and are wheelchair accessible. Portals 4, 8, 13 and 17 are reserved for guests in wheelchairs. Rows E, F, and G in every section will be labeled "Reserved for the Handicapped." These rows have 1, 2 or no steps to maneuver.
    • EagleBank Arena has a wheelchair that can be used to assist guests to and from one location to another but must be returned after each use rather than kept for the duration of the event. To request a wheelchair, please see event staff (in green vests).
    • Parking is available for guests with disabilities at both the South and West entrances, including a drop-off location near the West entrance. Van accessible parking spaces are located adjacent to the South entrance. These spaces are well-marked and are monitored. Please remember that all vehicles must display state-issued accessible parking tags or placards to park in these spaces.
    • Please complete this google form if you have a guest attending who would need sign language interpretation.

    • Graduates in the first half of the alphabet will be seated on the left side of the stage; parents and guests should be seated on the North side of the Eagle Bank Arena.
    • Graduates in the second half of the alphabet will be seated on the right side of the stage; parents and guests should be seated on the South side of the Eagle Bank Arena.

 

  • The Ceremony
    • The ceremony will start at 2:00 pm. and last approximately 2 hours.
    • We ask for your cooperation to help ensure the ceremony gets the respect and dignity it deserves.  Please no air horns, beach balls, or other distracting behaviors.  Our seniors have worked extremely hard and every student deserves to hear his/her name read aloud.
    • Guests and family members are asked to remain in their seats during the ceremony.  Standing in the aisles or going on the arena floor for any reason is not permitted.
    • Students will then exit the Eagle Bank Arena via the North side of the Arena.  Please wait for your student outside of the North exit.  This location is a change from previous years.
    • Victor O’Neill Studios will provide commencement portraits with no obligation to purchase.  Information for purchasing portraits will be inside the graduation program.
    • Memory Videography will be the graduation videographer.  Information for purchasing a video will be inside the graduation program.
