Green Club

Students develop an awareness of how their everyday activities impact their environment. They will explore and devise sustainable solutions to current environmental concerns within the community. Students have a choice of activities or pathways to choose from. Activities range from maintaining the natural habitat garden to stream monitoring and citizen science opportunities. Students who participate have the opportunity to earn community service hours.

Hispanic Culture Club

This club is for students who are interested in learning about the Hispanic culture. Students will have the opportunity to run for office and select what activities the club would like to sponsor. We would like the students to have a chance to explore the culture from Central America, South America and Spain through dance, food and crafts. We also want them to highlight the role of some prominent figures from some of these countries.

Latin Club (Junior Classic League)

Members of the Middle School Latin Club will be inducted into the National Junior Classic League. During our meetings we will learn about interesting aspects of Roman society and the ancient world through fun activities. Topics may include: gladiators, mythology, fashion, food. Activities may include: Roman gingerbread villas, marshmallow Colosseums, (terrifically bad) old videos about Rome, and games. Come for the culture, the food, and the fun. Bring your friends. No Latin knowledge necessary.

Odyssey of the Mind (OOTM)

OOTM is an international problem-solving competition that has rewarded students for imaginative thinking and teamwork for almost 40 years! Every year, children work together on creative thinking skills, through both short-term problem solving and by tackling one of six different long-term problems, each of which develops creativity, performance skills, and engineering know-how.
